New Discovery Channel video game documentary series

A little late on this... Rise of the Video Game, check it out if you have access to the channel. It airs an hour long episode every Wed. that started with yesterday and for the next four weeks. There are five "levels" episodes in all.

Interplay to restart its in-house development studio.

On November 13, 2007, Interplay Entertainment Corp. announced that they will restart its in-house game development studio using money that they received through its sale of the Fallout IP to Bethesda Softworks. Gamespot has reported that Interplay has current plans to develop sequels (contingent on if it can secure funding for the projects) for the following classic Interplay IPs: Earthworm Jim, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Descent, and MDK.
